My name is Austin Story, a 30-something year old tech entreprenuer from Springfield, MO. I have a gorgeous wife and am the proud father of two incredible twin boys.  I love dogs, programming, playing guitar and building businesses.  I also get pretty excited about real estate investing.

I enjoy the technology industry and feel fortunate that it gives me the ability to continue learning and developing new skills in programming and infrastructure.

My primary tech stack includes Ruby on Rails, Vue, React and express.js.  I also have a good amount of experience with Graphql, Elasticsearch, Golang and some with kafka.  I have used these tools to build dozens of MVPs for companies, assisted in the continued development of many existing enterprise projects and built my own SaaS which has been in production for since 2012.

In past professional lives I was an information security engineer and have advanced certifications from Microsoft (MCITP, MCP, MCTS), Cisco (CCNA), Sophos (ACE) and Comptia (Security+). I also built and sold a business that was primarily focused on building Web Applications and delivering Managed Services to small and medium sized businesses.
